Daily Prompt: Constant

The thoughts they don’t abide
There is no place to run or to hide
The mind is a dangerous thing
An enemy of the human being

It can all be so very constant
Leaving you sad and despondent
All dreams and aspirations disappear
As your brain does nothing but snide and sneer

There no rationalisation just taunting
Past fears keep on haunting
It’s all so constant and daunting
How can life go on?

You can’t just move on
Everything and everybody is a con
Distrust and hate
With everyone discriminate
It’s all so constant

Living with mental health
You can have to learn to have stealth
Put on a brace face and force a smile
Only backing down once In a while

I can be such an enigma
I want to break the stigma
That is constantly around
I want to make noise and make sound
Break the silence that surrounds
On mental health disorders

So here I will stand
And i want to be help to be a hand
Be socially acceptable
To have no shame because everyone is susceptible
To the constant noise and thoughts
