I would like to say a huge thank you to those who read and follow my blog, to me it’s important to get the message out there about Mental Health and the impact it has on people, families and society. Take away the stigma and the shame people feel about mental health, there is no shame in it at all.
As a sufferer myself I felt burdened with shame as a teen and adult, shame of abuse I suffered believing it was something I did to encourage it or maybe because I was just alive and in the way . So many people carry the weight of the world on their shoulders and handle it in different ways. It doesn’t make us weak! It’s makes us warriors!
We are warriors! We’ve fought battles, we try to beat the pain in the brain ( oohhh I like that, pain in the brain) the overwhelming thoughts that rage on. We are silence breakers, we open up and tell the world what it’s really like to suffer with a mental health condition.
We are not our conditions, but people who have travelled on beat, overgrown roads fighting the demons along the way while it’s pouring with rain from a heavy dark cloud.
Again thank you for your support in my blog, in me and helping me getting mental health out there.
